Welcome to San Diego-WISH

Peace & Humanity Day
The vision of San Diego-WISH is to promote peace and harmony among all peoples, cultures, and nations.  Our mission is to work toward the creation of a safer world for future generations and to educate people to live in harmony, using the unprecedented experience of the US-Japan relationship as a real-world example.

Peace & Humanity Day
Part I:  Friday, August 3, 2012
6:00pm - 8:45pm @ Coronado City Council Chamber / Community Pool

Part II: Thursday, August 9, 2012
11:00am - 12:00pm @ Yokohama Friendship Bell

Peace & Humanity Day events will have two parts: (1) floating of paper lanterns to send wishes for people worldwide to live in harmony and (2) a ceremony to send a message to promote peace for the sake of future generations.  We gather to send a message to encourage all people to hold hands with those whose beliefs, viewpoints, and cultures may be different from their own in order to promote peace and harmony worldwide.
